The standard bank Joy of Jazz Golf Day is one of the festival’s key audience development initiatives- to grow the festival market among golfers. In its 6th year running, this year it has grown bigger and better and comes powered by Nestlife.
NestLife who are the leading specialist’s group risk insurers that provide and administers comprehensive life insurance solutions, are proud to be associated with the standard bank Joy of Jazz Golf Day- a partnership set to ensure the growth and success of this Golf day. The exclusive golf day of only 150 players will be held at the Houghton golf course on the 23rd of September, a day before the beginning of the Standard bank Joy of Jazz. It will see players from the top crop of South African corporate executives battling it out on the fairways. Some of the leading musicians who play golf will also be in attendance. Later in the evening, to show appreciation to the players, the day will transform to a prize-giving gala dinner where absolute elegance will be on display. Students from the Johnny Mekoa School of jazz will be amongst the entertainers. As part of the line-up, there will be an auction where unique jazz items will be auctioned and all the proceeds will go to the development fund of the Johnny Mekoa School of Jazz. A day promising a jazzy fun filled affair indeed.
